Welcome to Grange Groomers
After working in the pet industry for many years, and been a dog owner for many more I made the decision to venture into the world of dog grooming!
I set out to achieve my Open College Network (OCN) level3 Diploma in dog grooming and established Grange Groomers in the summer of 2020.
Providing 1 : 1 care in a secure, clean, relaxed, and fully insured salon environment.
We offer a wide range of grooming services from trims to full breed grooms and hand stripping.
We will always adhere to the Animal Welfare Act and constantly uphold correct handling and grooming techniques.
Professional Grooming is an essential part of of your dog's life which encourages and maintains the health of both skin and coat.

Melanie Brailsford
Owner / Chief Groomer
Melanie is the Owner and Chief Groomer of Grange Groomers and has overall responsibility for the daily running of the business. After 25 years in managerial positions in the retail industry, Melanie wanted a career change and her passion for animals led her to dog grooming.
"I am an OCN Level 3 qualified Dog Groomer having completed my training at Just 4 Paws Grooming School, under the guidance of one of the UK's top trainers and groomers Amy Manser.
I am fully insured and also hold an up to date pet first-aid certificate."

HAND STRIPPING
Hand stripping is available and is extremely popular with a range of dog breeds. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss the prices.
£35 per hour
EMMI-PET TEETH CLEANING
100% Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning.
Initial appointment (£35) which includes an initial consultation and your pets own toothbrush head.
Follow-up visits (£15) each and this depends on the condition of the dog's teeth.
PUPPIES
For Puppies, we offer a free puppy groom for their first appointment so we can gently ease them into grooming.
(Puppies up to the age of 4 months).
IMPORTANT INFO
Cuts are usually done on a 6-8 week cycle and failing to stay within this time frame could result in the next session to be at a higher cost.
If your dog has fleas then this will be an extra charge of £10.
Overgrown £5-10 extra charge (more than a month overdue).
